The concerns of sustainable development have encouraged efforts toward increasing the efficient utilisation of agricultural by-products as alternative usage for a range of bio-based products from low to high value products. Pineapple is one of the most familiar tropical fruits widely cultivated around the world for its fruits. Pineapple leaves, the major part of the plant that is currently unused need global attention for its commercial exploitation. After fruit harvesting at the plantation and fruit processing at the factory, a range of by-products were produced. This book will discuss on the pineapple and its waste utilisation towards circular bioeconomy that will cover the topics from the availability of the pineapple plants (products or by-product) before and after harvesting, processing and final by-products at pineapple processing industries.
